There are two parts to RSS: the RSS reader and the feeds from your favorite websites. Instead of visiting 10 sites to see what's new, you view a single page with all new content. RSS stands for “really simple syndication.” It's a protocol that allows an RSS reader to talk to your favorite websites and get updates from them. Press the "Ok" and FeedReader will take care of the rest.Whether you are sick of social media, want to get away from endless notifications, or just want to read your news all in one spot, an RSS reader can help.Enter your Intervals login credentials in the popup window that appears. RSS feeds from your Intervals account are secure and will prompt FeedReader to ask for a username and password.If it doesn't, paste the Intervals URL for your project RSS feed into the text field and press enter. The URL should auto-populate from the system clipboard. Open up FeedReader and click the "New" button to add a new feed.Right-click on the RSS icon in the upper right corner and select "Copy link address" (or "Copy Shortcut," depending on your Web browser).This will bring up recent project activity. Log in to your Intervals account and navigate to the project you want to subscribe to and click on the Feed link in the left column.Other RSS readers known to work with Intervals authenticated RSS feeds are Internet Explorer and NetVibes. The following instructions apply specifically to FeedReader, which we recommend using for Intervals, but most RSS Readers should follow a similar setup. To add the project RSS feed to your favorite RSS reader, first make sure the reader supports authentication RSS feeds. This feed is also available as an authenticated RSS feed. Each Intervals project has a feed that is updated whenever a milestone, task, document or other project asset is added or updated.
